Various types Demister for various conditions are available. Angle Vane-type Demister is in common use.
As a gas containing liquid or dust enter the Angle Vane-type Demister, it is forced to change direction through the multiple passages of the Demister. Entrained droplets impinge on the vane surfaces due to their greater inertia. The collected droplets and solids are drained to the bottom of the unit. These type units give a very low pressure drop and high efficiency.
